Labarces is a town in the municipality of Valdáliga, 180 metres above sea level, where quiet, traditional tourism is one of its main charms, in an area made up of small valleys and surrounded by the mountains of La Sierra de Arnero, Lleno, La Pica and Sarria, full of hazelnut, holly, birch, hawthorn and other shrubs.
