Description

This house is part of a group of houses and buildings that form part of a typical farmhouse of the Empordà region. It is surrounded by green lawns and fields and the estate is dotted with large trees, such as a hundred-year-old olive tree that presides over a courtyard around which stand the typical stone façade constructions of the area and the occasional slender cypress tree. It has been renovated and maintains its original materials, architectural elements and layout. On the ground floor, the floor is covered with grey micro-cement, while the upper floor still has the warm, hand-crafted Catalan tuff, and the façade has original openings with glass enclosures and shutters to protect from the light. Inside, it conserves exposed beams, arched openings and original or recovered wooden doors. The walls also partially preserve the exposed stone masonry combined with white whitewashed surfaces.

The house has a total surface area of 250 m2, distributed over two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen and dining room attached to the island with a glazed tiled countertop, and on the upper floor there are three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. As for the decoration, it is made up of restored classic style furniture in a good state of preservation. The bed linen and towels are 100% cotton. The living room has an open fireplace. With capacity for six people, it has one bedroom with a queen size double bed and balcony, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and has a terrace and the third bedroom has a queen size double bed.

Outside there is a communal swimming pool. It has heating, Wi-Fi connection, beach towels and pets are not allowed. The minimum stay is one week.
