In Menorca these old houses are also known by the name of Rafal, (of Arabic origin) which was given to the farmhouses whose agricultural properties were exploited directly by their owners. The whole complex is surrounded by forests, gardens, orchards, agricultural buildings, cisterns…
This unique property has several singular buildings that have been recently refurbished respecting the original materials, turning it into an agrotourism estate that can be rented privately for groups and families.
Firstly, there is the manor house at the highest point of the estate, which is built in sandstone from the quarry on the property, which houses 6 suites (one family suite with 2 bedrooms). The estate also has another traditional building with great charm, Casa del Payés, with 4 suites. Around the swimming pool you will also find some traditional Menorcan constructions, traditionally used for agricultural purposes. These unique constructions, known as boyeras, have been restored to house 3 suites, pleasant living areas and a summer dining room next to the swimming pool.
As for the farmland, the estate has a greenhouse, fruit orchards, an area for growing goji strawberries and more than 350 olive trees. Each of its outbuildings is surrounded by idyllic gardens where we can lose ourselves among its Arabic irrigation channels, its ponds and its magic, making the long summer nights even more pleasant, or enjoy the outdoors with the smells of the countryside all year round.
