There are many reasons why this estate has been on the cover of House of Garden and Milieu magazines. We went into the heart of this private estate in Segovia to discover a unique property. The owners’ objective was to recreate a dreamlike place, and to do so, they relied on great professionals who designed its interior and exterior world.
On the outside, the landscape designer Fernando Caruncho has managed to interpret an immense landscaped estate of more than 8,000 square metres. Among these exterior spaces we find the central courtyard, the main axis of the house. It is in this bucolic and rustic courtyard, from where the lounges lead to a large porch. A porch where we can enjoy the impressive views of the lands of Segovia, with so many colours, lights, sounds and contrasts.
The house has about 1,500 square meters, whose rehabilitation has been in charge of the architect Pablo Carvajal recovering the property and putting in value this property of the XXI century. Segovian cuisine also offers rich vegetable flavours, such as Segovian-style mushrooms mixed with white wine. In any of its villages you can also try florones, one of the most typical desserts of Castile.
