This house is located less than 300 metres from the sea, within a private urbanization where peace and tranquillity reign. Its location is privileged, between the beaches of Guadalmina and Saladillo, just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Marbella. It also enjoys an environment surrounded by clubs for the enjoyment of golf, paddle tennis and water sports lovers.
This building has 160 square metres and capacity for six people. It is the manifesto of the new luxury, because it has been created under the concept of an ‘experiential house’. It has three rooms equipped with interior design and decorative details that pay homage to the Costa del Sol and explore the tastes, flavours and musical and artistic expressions that define the Andalusian lands. Its owners wanted to reinvent the universe of the idea of exclusivity under three fundamental pillars that make up a declaration of intent: the universe of wellbeing, art and design and sustainability.
In terms of design and architecture, the use of the curved line, a project conceived by Juan Bengoa, stands out.
This house is the result of two years of work that have transformed the property into a true Mediterranean paradise.It is the result of the founders’ connection to the town of Marbella, where they created their home and this boutique hotel that pays tribute to the culture of Andalusia.
The curved designs of the home house a series of connected living spaces, each of which encourages guests to gather.This format provides intimate corners in which to enjoy moments of tranquillity.The organic movement of the layout blurs the boundaries between the different zones, creating large, flexible spaces.Thanks to the chromatic continuity of this space, the Mediterranean colours and the natural materials used, the different rooms connect with each other in an organic way. Everything makes sense, enhanced by the careful lighting that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
The construction consists of three floors, with rooms distributed as follows: ground floor, with garden, porch and swimming pool, on the outside, hall, living room, dining room and kitchen, in an open space, toilet, a bedroom and staircase; first floor, with two bedrooms with en suite bathroom, one of them with dressing room, terrace and staircase; and, the upper terrace.
Stays at Casa Manuela offer the special feature of staying in a private house, and the rooms have open showers and private terraces overlooking the garden. Each of the three bedrooms sleeps two guests in queen size beds. Suite 01 is a master suite, with private bathroom with open shower, bathtub, access to the balcony and terrace and garden views; suite 02, has a private ensuite bathroom with shower and garden views and access to the balcony and terrace; suite 03 has a private shower and external toilet and washbasin.
The kitchen follows an open concept to the living and dining room, and is designed so that “gastronomy and dining experiences play a fundamental role in the experiences of this house thanks to the diversity of its regional cuisine, the dishes prepared with organic and seasonal products direct from the garden to the table (with the option of cooking live); seafood and fish from the area, diverse vegetables and fruit and the heart and soul of the Andalusian gastronomic culture”, say the owners. The aim is for the kitchen to be a space where everything is made from scratch, without using refined products and sourcing from local producers who seek to maintain their roots.
