Description
This house responds to the concept of a contemporary villa where the atmosphere invites you to enjoy a cocktail on the terrace and the longed-for holiday feeling as soon as you arrive. It is located in Comporta, an old fishing town with an undeniable tourist attraction to the south of Lisbon – which has been undergoing continuous development for the last decade – and specifically in Brejos, a quiet and exclusive urban neighbourhood of holiday homes just a few minutes’ drive from Comporta.
Overlooking the rice paddies, it is scented by pine trees at the rear of the building and has floor-to-ceiling windows that can be fully opened to bring the landscape inside and the sounds of nature into the house.
It has four suites, each with a private outdoor space, automatic blinds and spacious wardrobes. Three of the suites have twin beds (which can be joined together), and one has a king-size bed.
Next to the private pool there is an outdoor shower for cooling off after a day at the beach. The property is equipped with mosquito protection systems.
The living room has a large dining table with seating for 8 people can easily sit together to enjoy a meal. On the outside terrace which is an extension of the lounge there is a table for outdoor dining, seating and cosy corners to enjoy a cocktail.
The detached property has parking for two vehicles and faces the rice fields, away from the street. Although there are neighbours, privacy is guaranteed from every corner of the house. The architecture blends with nature and the interior merges with the exterior, even in winter when the large glass door is closed. It was designed according to a project by GSS Architects and managed to be nominated by Arch Daily magazine in 2022 as Building of the Year.
The swimming pool is square in shape and is perfectly integrated into the Mediterranean-style garden where lavender, jasmine and a beautiful olive tree grow.
It is an 8 minute drive to the beaches of Comporta, Carvalhal is 5 minutes away, Melides is 20 minutes away and Lisbon is 1 hour and 25 minutes away.
In Comporta there are a variety of nice restaurants and some small shops and cafes.
It has central heating, air conditioning in all bedrooms, all bathrooms have rain shower, WI-FI , BBQ, dishwasher, oven, microwave, wine fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, Bosch high speed blender, fridge with freezer, washer dryer, heated pool – 42″ HDTV with Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney, Max, Netflix, Standardcable, Bluetooth speaker and mosquito nets on windows and doors.
No smoking allowed. Pets are not allowed.
