This three-module home designed by Taller Alberto Calleja blends into the landscape with which it interacts in Puerto Escondido, in the village of Tututepec, which means “bird hill”, the oldest town in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico.
Immersed in a leafy landscape, the house is a construction made of exposed concrete, reed and wood with a brutalist-inspired style whose design makes it go virtually unnoticed. It has 280 m2, distributed on a single floor and built in 2018, it can accommodate 10 people and has 5 bedrooms, four bathrooms and a toilet, as well as a living room, dining room and kitchen. These last spaces are outside protected by a porch with a wooden structure and thatched roofs. Inside, to maintain contact with the outside, the wooden slatted panels installed from floor to ceiling filter the light and allow ventilation.
Outside, the wooden beamed construction has large shaded areas with porches where there are pleasant sitting areas and outdoor dining areas equipped with wooden furniture, as well as a solarium next to the private swimming pool with an overflowing pool. In this area there is a barbecue.
Among the services offered are private staff, porter, WiFi, air conditioning.
The minimum stay is three days and can include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Being just a few metres from the beach, you can walk barefoot on the sand down a slight wooden walkway that starts from the house itself.
