This holiday home is in a very special location just 10 minutes walk from the famous beach of Pego, located in a quiet and relaxed neighbourhood. It stands out for offering the perfect ambience for every season of the year, whether it is relaxing by the fireplace in winter or enjoying this fantastic beach house with swimming pool and spacious relaxation areas in summer. It is in this season when you can enjoy the fruits of the fig trees and many other fruit trees in the garden.
The house is situated between the beach of Pego and the beach of Carvalhal, which allows you to perfectly enjoy the whole area around Comporta.
The curious building, with thatched roof and hut-like exterior appearance, has a total built area of 300 square metres with four bedrooms for up to 8 guests, each with its own en-suite bathroom, elegantly designed with marble finishes. The spacious master bedroom flows into the bathroom area, which has a bathtub located in the centre of the room, two sinks and a shower.
The latter has a door accessible from the outside, a design designed for easy showering after spending time outdoors.
The house enjoys a special corner to enjoy watching TV, with a wall-to-wall window offering views of the ancient olive tree in the garden. This single storey construction follows an open plan concept, which offers a large space for guests but at the same time a very cosy and sheltered feeling. The entire décor is designed to give the feeling of a comfortable beach retreat. Japanese cedar wood flooring throughout the house enhances its beauty. The living room is elegantly decorated and features a sitting area by the fireplace that provides a cosy space to relax.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, with two refrigerators to ensure a satisfying culinary stay.Outside, there is a large outdoor dining area available for guests, which is easily accessible from the kitchen, and a barbecue area to enjoy al fresco meals, where a fireplace adds a cosy touch during the winter.
Another main attraction is the pool area, which offers a refreshing space equipped with four sun loungers and parasols, and a large shaded cushioned island with the best view over the pool, garden and pine trees.Whether for lounging in the sun or relaxing in the shade, the pool area suits all needs.Even in winter, besides being pleasant to look at, it can also be enjoyed thanks to the fact that it is heated.From this area it is possible to hear the murmur of the waves, which helps to experience a true coastal getaway.
The beaches of Pego and Carvalhal are just a short walk from the house and both beaches have beach bars and exclusive restaurants serving the fish of the day and other delicacies. The clean, blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean make this a great destination for swimming and surfing.
The property is also perfectly located within easy driving distance (3 min by car, 15 min by bike) of the charming village of Carvalhal, where there are local shops, restaurants and cafes. Comporta and Melides are only a few minutes’ drive away. The property is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The soft Japanese cedar wood flooring makes barefoot walking feel warm and natural and the marble surfaces in the bathrooms invite a delicate and fresh touch.
The fresh sea air and the scent of pine trees invade the outdoor space and add to the aromas coming from fruit trees such as fig trees.
The culinary offerings in this area, based on fresh, local produce from nearby markets and restaurants, are irresistible.
