“Artisan essence, Mediterranean and a human team”. Elisa Calatayud is clear when she is asked about the pillars on which the soul of TC Collection is based. And the fact is that everything handmade transmits a unique sensation that evokes the essential, the unhurried, unhurried life and the quality that allows things to last. A magic that the firm carries by flag, and of which they are experts, recognised since 2013 with the denomination of Master Artisans of the Valencian Community.
His new collection was presented in our Invernadero The Sibarist, which for a day was flooded by the smell of the Mediterranean. The sea is key to understanding TC Collection furniture and has a strong presence. “The climate here in Mogente, where we are based, is very warm almost all year round, so the colours are very much inspired by summer colours, which we extend throughout the year because of its luminosity,” explains Elisa Calatayud of TC Collection.

That is why the range used is very natural and fresh, ranging from neutrality to the softest earth tones. It is furniture that evokes memories of childhood, of the beach, that smells of sea, sand and salt. In short, Mediterranean.
In fact, pure washed linen and cotton are the basic fabrics they usually work with. Carefully selected fabrics, of natural origin, and worked with great care. Everything that is made passes through the hands of each of the artisans specialised in different sectors. “We start by cutting the fabric, then come the upholstery, the design… We always like to transmit the artisan essence, the care and sensitivity with which we work”.

A philosophy marked by a calm, slow pace. There, in the warehouse where they work surrounded by nature, nothing is done in a chain. “That’s why each piece is unique because we pay attention to how the stitching is done, how the stitching is done, how the inside or the outside has been sewn. A peace that is impregnated in all the details of the sofas, headboards, decorative cushions, bed linen, benches and blankets, but above all in the people who make it up and who bring out the best teamwork.
