Finca Los Labrados is located in the municipality of Robledillo de la Vera, in Cáceres, just two hours from Madrid. Located on the southern side of the Sierra de Gredos, this estate enjoys a privileged natural environment, with a moderate climate all year round, without extreme temperatures.
The region is one of the rainiest in Spain, which favours lush and fertile vegetation.
The landscape is dotted with olive groves, fruit trees and large areas of woodland.
In summer, the heat is bearable thanks to the cool breeze from the mountains, and at night, the temperatures drop enough to make it necessary to wrap up warm.
The area offers many leisure options, such as hiking in the mountains, swimming in natural pools, canoeing, horse riding and other outdoor activities. It also enjoys stunning views of the Sierra de Gredos and has a rose garden and its layout and porch allow you to enjoy natural light throughout the day.
Layout:
The finca has a main house of 500 m², a guest cottage of 100 m² and about 60 hectares of land. In total it can accommodate 22 guests in 10 bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a guest toilet. The main house is U-shaped, with a central courtyard acting as the main entrance. In one wing of the house, there are five double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, with the master bedroom standing out for its size and stunning views of the mountains.
In the same wing, there is a cinema room, equipped with a large sofa and a high definition projector. The other wing of the house houses a spacious living room with two distinct areas, a fireplace, a games room/bookshop and the dining room, which also has its own fireplace. Next to these rooms is the porch, considered one of the jewels of the house, which offers views of the Gredos mountains and a rose garden with more than 1,000 specimens. The wood of the antique furniture, the soft texture of the sofas, the carpets and the stone and ceramic surfaces give a feeling of comfort and rusticity, connecting the interior with the surrounding nature.
The kitchen, laundry room, storage room and a guest toilet are distributed throughout the house, guaranteeing functionality and comfort. In the guest cottage, there are four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area with lounge, dining room and kitchen, as well as a fireplace that provides warmth.The terrace overhanging the casita allows you to enjoy the natural surroundings, with a sitting area and a dining area.In addition, a separate games room with billiards, table tennis, darts and table football guarantees entertainment at any time.
The exterior of the estate is designed to enjoy the natural surroundings.The swimming pool, surrounded by a large garden and shaded by trees, offers a perfect retreat during hot days.Nearby, an artificial grass croquet court invites you to enjoy outdoor games.The finca also has a chicken coop for self-catering and a kennel, contributing to the self-sufficiency of the place.
The estate’s crops, including the terraced olive groves, allow for the production of its own olive oil. In addition, the vegetable garden and fruit orchard provide fresh produce for personal consumption. The estate also includes a beautiful oak forest, ideal for walking at any time of the year, and ponds that enrich the landscape and the fauna of the area.
The estate is about 2 hours and 10 minutes by car from Madrid, 223 km from Madrid Barajas Airport.
It can also be reached by train to Navalmoral de la Mata, from where it is necessary to take a taxi.Although the train in the region is not always efficient, a reliable local contact is available to facilitate the transfer from Barajas.There is also a bus service to Navalmoral de la Mata, and from there you can take a taxi to the finca.
The area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities.Hiking in the mountains, adapted to different levels of difficulty, is a popular option, as is swimming in the region’s natural pools.Local multi-adventure companies offer horse riding, canoeing and other activities that promote the enjoyment of nature and the landscape of the area.

From inside the house and its large windows, the view is dominated by the vegetation and the natural landscape surrounding the estate.

The fresh mountain air and the natural aroma of the rose garden and the crops of the estate fill the outdoor environment. Inside, the mixture of wood, plants and wood-burning fireplaces provide a warm and cosy atmosphere, with a touch of the aroma of nature.
Fresh produce from the estate’s orchard and fruit trees, such as the estate’s own olive oil, allow local flavours to be enjoyed at every meal. The proximity to nature also provides access to seasonal fruit and vegetables that enrich the gastronomic experience for locals and visitors alike.
The sound of nature is the protagonist of the landscape. Birdsong, the rustle of the wind through the trees and the murmur of the water of the nearby ponds bring a unique tranquillity. The interior of the house also benefits from absolute silence, interrupted only by the crackling of the fireplaces and the soothing sound of the fire.
