Just 14 km from the beautiful town of Laredo and its magnificent beaches, we find this wonderful Casona; a 16th-century Cantabrian building, built by Juan de Herrera on land granted by Philip II.
Located at the base of the forest, made up of chestnut, holm oak, cherry, oak, and walnut trees. It even boasts a spring, lush gardens, and an old esplanade where bolo pasiego was played in the 19th century.
Painstakingly renovated by architect José Luis Uriarte, adapting it to contemporary use while respecting its uniqueness. Its carefully designed decor is reminiscent of elegant English country houses, a delight for its occupants, transporting them back in time.

Teruel sí existe y alberga exclusivas joyas arquitectónicas. En la comarca de Matarraña, considerada la Toscana española, en una finca de 100 hectáreas de naturaleza donde uno se siente mágicamente aislado, nos encontramos con una espectacular fusión entre arte y arquitectura.
Esta casa ha sido creada sin límites entre interior y exterior, su fachada permite abrirse totalmente, dormir viendo las estrellas aquí es posible. Atravesada por el paisaje, en su centro encontramos una piscina natural con aspecto de lago. Arquitectura invisible que desaparece en el bosque, cuestionando todos los convencionalismos.
Como anécdota, los arquitectos en su prospección al terreno tuvieron que visitar la parcela en círculo porque se encontraron una colmena…esta experiencia les llevó a contarla creando una casa circular. Cada módulo de esta casa es independiente del resto de estancias a las que se accede desde su patio/porche exterior. Su interior es funcional pero confortable, con apenas decoración para que ésta no nos aleje de la experiencia que se quiere conseguir.
