Also avaialble for: Filming and Events

Description

Hidden in the foothills of the Pasiegos Valleys and immersed in the inland nature of Cantabria, this 17th century palace, converted into an antique hotel in 2021, is surrounded by ancient villages, jewels of artistic heritage, cave paintings, hidden paths and wildlife that make this enclave a unique place.
Designed by Malales Martínez Canut, from the Malmaca studio, and by María Mas Interiors, it consists of eleven rooms with history and personality, which make up an exclusive environment reserved for adults only. The meticulous decoration deserves special mention as it is made up of furniture and objects carefully selected from antique dealers from all over the world, which are also available for sale to guests.
The palace is located on a 2,000 square metre estate and has a baroque façade with a central tower and stone masonry and a well-tended garden surrounding the property. Inside, the building maintains the original height of the ceilings, straight and arched openings in stone masonry, coffered ceilings and wooden beams, as well as antique furniture and decorative and artistic objects that take us back to the past. This palace has been used as a noble residence, a seminary and a hospital. Today, the estate has been restored and converted into a boutique hotel with elegant and spacious rooms and suites, each with its own unique charm and character.
