This detached beach house is located in the village of Doniños, in Ferrol, a municipality north of La Coruña, in a natural environment characterised by tranquillity, 2 km from the beach of the same name, famous among surf lovers. The centenary house is located in the middle of a typical Galician village and has a large garden from which you can enjoy incredible views of the sea and the characteristic lagoon, as well as a large space to relax surrounded by nature. Doniños beach, two kilometres long, is the best known beach in Ferrol and has the Blue Flag distinction.

With an interior area of 184 square metres on two floors and 1,000 metres of plot, it has capacity for 6 guests, distributed in 3 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and en suite bathroom and two with queen size beds and two shared bathrooms, plus a toilet. The living room has an open fireplace, exposed stone walls and wooden beams.
Every corner is full of carefully chosen details to make this house a home from home during your stay. The interior design of each room has been conceived as a space with its own character. The restoration process has focused on keeping intact the essence of an original construction of more than 100 years old, to which recovered furniture has been added, leaving original elements and adding personal details of the owners and their own history and that of the house.

In terms of services and communal areas, the house has a large front yard, a gazebo, a backyard and a garden. As positive aspects the owners point out the quiet character of its location, the pleasant disposition of the neighbourhood and the people of the village and the feeling of being 100% immersed in nature. The garden has a wooden deck elevation shaded by a tree, ideal for yoga and meditation.

As it is located in such a natural and authentic environment, supermarkets, shops and other services are no more than a 10-15 minute drive away, a detail that should be foreseen before arriving at the accommodation or when dining out. With regard to parking, the house, being detached, can accommodate 2-3 cars, depending on size, with the caveat that the access to the house is narrow and uphill. In the case of larger vehicles, vans or similar, parking is about 80 metres from the house, with no problems as the neighbourhood is exceptionally quiet.

The house is 20 km from A Coruña airport and 64 km from Santiago de Compostela airport. It is 6 km from Ferrol train station, 7 km from San Xoan train station and 16 km from A Coruña bus station.

Among the services, the property has WiFi, pets are allowed, it is baby friendly, it has heating and air conditioning, the kitchen is equipped for the use of guests, both the furniture and the bed linen and other linen are of excellent quality.
