This holiday rental house is set in a beautiful private garden of 2,500 m², equipped with a large swimming pool and fantastic views over the village and the surrounding vineyards of Château Ausone, La Rochelle, Clotte, Pavie and Pavie-Macquin.

The villa is divided into five bedrooms, ranging in size from 27 to 38 m², with exceptional views and en-suite bathrooms, offering a total capacity for 10 people. Each of the spacious rooms is individually air-conditioned and designed for maximum comfort.

The white-walled interior design highlights fine wood furnishings and bentwood and lattice seating, such as the rocking chairs in the lounge from antique dealers and antique shops, which are matched with leather seats and fresh, natural fibre fabrics. In the lighting, Serge Mouille pieces stand out. In contrast, the dining room features Wishbone seating by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn. An upright wooden piano and a few pieces of art complete the carefully designed interior.

Layout:

One of the bedrooms enjoys a surface area of 38 m² and has a double bed measuring 180 x 200 cm and is decorated with simple furnishings and some antique pieces. It has a large bathroom with a panoramic view of Saint-Émilion and the gardens of the villa. Room 2, facing north, is 27 m² with a 160 x 200 cm double bed and a view of the monolithic church of Saint-Émilion and the ramparts of the village and the vineyards of Château La Clotte. Bedroom 3, facing south, is 28 m², has a 160 x 200 cm bed, a view of the private garden, the swimming pool and the historic chapel of Château Ausone. Bedroom 4, 29 m², has a 180 x 200 cm double bed, en-suite bathroom and views of two sides of the 12th century ramparts of Saint-Émilion and the village’s bicentennial olive tree. Room 5, located in the south-east corner of the villa, has 31 m² and is bathed in sunlight from morning to evening. It has a 160 x 200 cm double bed and a very spacious bathroom with views of the private garden, the swimming pool and the vineyards of Château Pavie, Pavie-Maquin and La Clotte. Inside, the house has a large living room and an intimate private study, both with fireplaces. The American-style kitchen is carefully designed and includes all the necessary amenities to make your stay an epicurean delight.

A Lacanche oven and hob, a wine cellar, two refrigerators, a freezer and a second dishwasher complete the room. The spacious dining room seats 12 people and offers direct access to the outdoor pergola and the beautiful garden.

Other essential services of the residence include a laundry room and a large garage for storing luggage, bicycles and shopping.

To enjoy the outdoors, the villa offers the enjoyment of the sun around the 10 x 4 m salt-treated and heated swimming pool and enjoys multiple relaxation areas. To give free rein to the competitive spirit, the residence has a manicured lawn for croquet practice.

You can dine outdoors under one of the two pergolas or on the back terrace, where you can prepare your meals in the summer kitchen equipped with a grill and barbecue.

The private parking area can accommodate up to six cars and is discreetly located in a corner of the property, providing direct access to the historic village just a short walk away.

On the doorstep of the village is the historic village of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its cobbled streets, monolithic church, numerous restaurants and wine shops, all within a five-minute walk. The wineries of Château Ausone, Pavie-Macquin and La Clotte are nearby.Château Pavie, Bélair-Monange, Clos Fourtet and Canon are just minutes away.

The rental rate includes bed linen and household linen, change of sheets every 3 days, concierge service, electricity, water, gas, cleaning service, toiletries and tourist development tax.
