This exclusive property located on the marine lake of Hossegor, a renowned seaside resort famous for its beaches, nestled between the Landes forest and the Atlantic Ocean, is the ideal destination for surfing and golf lovers as its course is considered among the most beautiful in Europe. It enjoys a perfect location on the western shore of the marine lake, with direct access to the legendary Blanche beach and only 3 minutes by bike from the ocean.

This is an iconic property of the Basque-Ilandic region dating back to the 1930’s and built by the French architect Louis Lagrange which makes it a historic and legendary house in Hossegor. The façade retains the characteristics of the villas of this region of New Aquitaine, with whitewashed walls and construction elements painted in red, such as beams, roof eaves, window frames and shutters.

The interior design is inspired by surf culture and uses bold colours and carefully chosen wood details, textiles and natural stones in the bathrooms, which bear the signature of the renowned decorator Dorothée Delaye, who wanted to reproduce the relaxed atmosphere of the Californian style.

The house has a heated outdoor swimming pool, views of the lake and an incredible pool house. In a total area of 380 m2, it can accommodate up to 14 people in six bedrooms including their respective bathrooms.

As for the bedrooms, five of them are doubles and are equipped with king size beds, en suite bathrooms with shower, and all of them have a balcony to enjoy fantastic views.

These are completed by a children’s room equipped with three twin beds and en suite bathroom with shower, which can accommodate four children as it has two single beds and a trundle bed. There is also a playroom with a Lego wall and Smallable toys.

The six-person lounge revolves around an open fireplace and the dining room can accommodate up to eight guests.

Services include breakfast, daily housekeeping, tailor-made activities, concierge service, VIP welcome, Wi-Fi, private staff, air conditioning, premium bed linen and towels, private cinema, mini electric car to discover the surroundings and is kids friendly.

Biarritz airport and train station are 35 minutes away by car, the same distance as Dax train station. There are restaurants less than 10 minutes drive from the house and nearby you will find shops selling local products such as honey and vineyards and interesting craft workshops.
