The house is located in Villanueva de la Vera, Cáceres, a municipality located in the eastern part of La Vera, on the southern slopes of the Gredos mountain range, which stands out for its well-preserved historic quarter, consisting of an arcaded main square and houses with the classic balconies.
Surrounded by an extensive meadow and with Gredos in the background, this villa can accommodate up to eight people and has 200 square metres distributed over two floors. It has three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds; three bathrooms, two with shower and bathtub; two living rooms, one with an open fireplace and the other on the upper floor, to accommodate 10 and 6 people, respectively; a dining room with capacity for 16 people; and a kitchen open to the living room and equipped for guests.
The construction, carried out in 2016, stands out for its two buildings with a gabled roof, it has WiFi, it is pet and baby friendly, it also has heating and a private swimming pool with sun loungers and mats.
The interior is decorated in detail with furniture endowed with character and personality that shows the wear and tear of time as one of its greatest attractions. Wood is present in the structure of beams and trusses as well as in the walls and floors, but also in the kitchen fronts and in the woodwork of the large windows and doors that connect the interior with the surrounding landscape. The decorative materials are leather, cottons and natural fibres.
Outside, the landscaping, the infinity pool and the pergolas equipped for eating or sitting comfortably in the open air stand out.
Nearby you can go hiking, horse riding, canoeing, canyoning and golf.
Among the cultural attractions, the property is located in an area of rich landscape and a rich cultural, architectural and ethnographic heritage.
Nearby towns include Plasencia, Trujillo, Cáceres and Guadalupe.
It is connected by train to the nearby town of Oropesa de Toledo.
