This house located in Ruiloba (Cantabria) is ideal to disconnect in a natural and quiet environment. Located in Barrio Pando, just 2.6 km from Comillas, 15 km from San Vicente de la Barquera and 19 km from Santillana del Mar, it offers a privileged location to explore some of the most emblematic destinations in Cantabria.

The landscape surrounding the property invites you to enjoy hiking routes such as the Ruta del Monte Corona, explore the Redwood Forest or visit the Hermitage of San Esteban. The region is also famous for its beautiful beaches, natural parks and exceptional gastronomy based on quality local products.

The house, with a stone façade and built in 1900, has been completely restored by the architect Ernesto Quintana to combine rustic charm with modernity. With a surface area of 237 m², the house is distributed over two floors and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Layout:

On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a spacious living room with fireplace and bar area, a sitting room with Smart TV, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a full bathroom. Outside there is a garden with a terrace at the front and another at the back, offering multiple spaces to enjoy the outdoors.

On the first floor are the four bedrooms, all equipped with twin beds, two of them with en-suite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has access to a balcony, and there is an office area with a veranda in the last bedroom, also with access to a balcony. The decoration, carefully selected, mixes quality wooden furniture, modern pieces and family heirlooms, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere that invites to rest and relaxation.

The house is perfectly connected, with Santander airport 50 km away and Torrelavega train station only 30 km, while the nearest beach is only 2 km away. The A8 motorway is 9 km away, providing easy access to other parts of the region. In addition, activities such as golf, surfing, hiking, cycling routes and walks in the charming nearby villages can be enjoyed in the surrounding area.

The property offers a variety of services to ensure guests’ comfort, such as rural wifi, heating, and is especially designed for families with small children, being baby friendly. An electric car charger is available on request for an additional daily fee. The minimum stay is 2 nights, and during the summer, a minimum stay of 6 nights is required.

There is also a bus station in Torrelavega, 30 km away, and the Cantabrian bus station, just 4 km away. The A8 motorway is 9 km away and the nearest beaches are only 2 km away.

In terms of activities, the surrounding area offers many options for enjoying nature and the outdoors, such as golf, surfing, hiking, cycling and walking.
