Situated between the sea and the mountains in inland Cadiz, in that second line that provides all the tranquillity of the countryside and a comfortable distance to the beach, this country house surrounded by nature is designed for enjoyment and disconnection. Its elevated location offers breathtaking views of the horizon and landscapes, and its construction, far from any other, guarantees privacy and tranquillity.

Carefully decorated, the house stands out for its bright, colourful interior design with Andalusian, Moroccan, Portuguese and French influences. The furniture chosen by the owner, who is an interior designer, and the high ceilings create an open and uncluttered atmosphere that invites you to feel good. The furniture is made up of antique pieces and country touches, achieving an elegant and stately result. Natural materials, such as fibre, stone washbasins, terracotta and hydraulic tile floors, fill the atmosphere with calm and freshness.

Layout

The house consists of living room, dining room and kitchen, two double bedrooms, the main bedroom and another outside bedroom. All of them have their own bathroom.

On entering there is a bright living room with a double height fireplace, large windows with celadon green panes and a cosy reading corner. A wooden enclosure, also with quarters, separates it from the dining room, which seats 6-8 people and is furnished with a combination of classic and garden pieces, and from the kitchen, which has direct access to the porch, with dining room and summer lounge. On the same floor there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes.

The impressive master bedroom, with a sloping gabled roof, is accessed by a beautiful staircase. It has a fireplace, decorated with glazed tiles, a balcony and a large separate room for the bathroom area, which is equipped with a freestanding bathtub, a large shower and double washbasins supported by wooden furniture. The play of floors gives it a very special character.

Outside, in addition to the swimming pool and a lush garden, a small independent bedroom with en suite bathroom and its own terrace has been built.

The house is 15 minutes from Medina Sidonia, 20 minutes from Vejer de la Frontera and 25 minutes from the idyllic Playa El Palmar, with its more than 4 km of white sand. Cadiz city is 35 minutes away and Seville is just over an hour away. Jerez airport is 45 minutes away.
