This house is located in the Oyambre estuary, an estuary on the western coast of Cantabria, between the municipalities of San Vicente de la Barquera, Valdáliga and Comillas. Its main attraction lies in its privileged location: elevated on a promontory, protected by trees and with unobstructed views of the Oyambre beach, allowing you to enjoy spectacular sunsets in a natural environment of great beauty.
It is a detached house with a garden and direct access to the beach, with capacity for five people. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, distributed over two floors, with a built area of 135 square metres. Built in 2000, the minimum stay is 15 days. The house has heating and a fully equipped kitchen for the use of the guests, and its decoration in a seafaring style is carefully designed to harmonise with the environment in which it is located.
The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, balcony, en suite bathroom with shower and access to a terrace.
The second bedroom, with two single trundle beds, also has a wardrobe, balcony, shared bathroom and access to the terrace. The third bedroom has three bunk beds, so it is recommended that the lower bed be occupied by an adult; it also shares a bathroom with shower. The dining room seats six people, as does the living room, which is equipped with a fireplace.
Outside, the terrace offers a table for six diners from which you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the Picos de Europa, the estuary, the beach and the cape of Oyambre.
The house allows the celebration of events and filming, with prior consultation, and offers a cleaning service on request for an additional cost of 150 euros. As for its location, it is two kilometres from Comillas, very close to the beaches of Oyambre and Gerra. The mountains of Monte Corona and the Picos de Europa are nine kilometres away. The area has numerous restaurants and bars in nearby towns such as Trasvía, Comillas and Santander, located just one kilometre away. The nearest airport is Santander, 50 kilometres away, and the nearest train station is in Torrelavega, 30 kilometres away.

The house is ideally situated for water sports such as surfing, kayaking or sailing, available about two kilometres away.There is also easy access to wellness centres, spas, massages, gyms and a wide range of cultural and family activities within a radius of three kilometres.Recommended excursions include visits to Comillas, Santillana del Mar and Santander, as well as places of interest such as Gaudí’s Casa de Gaudí and other gems of modernist architecture.
The beaches of Oyambre and Gerra are considered some of the best in the area and are only a short distance away.
One of the most valued particularities of the property is its private access to the Oyambre estuary.This condition allows you to swim in the property during high tide, walk to the beach and enjoy a natural beach that is formed on the property itself during low tide.Given its proximity to the sea, the sanitation system works through a septic tank with biological decomposition, so it is strictly forbidden to throw toilet paper or other non-biodegradable materials in it.
The plot can accommodate a maximum of four vehicles. The access road is a private easement, so parking is not permitted on its margins or on adjoining plots.Meetings or events involving a greater number of vehicles or people than the authorised capacity of the property, which is a maximum of 16 people, are not permitted.Exterior lighting is limited to solar spotlights with motion sensors, in an effort to reduce light pollution and preserve the natural character of the surroundings.
It is important to note that this home is a private property, with all the advantages and implications that this entails.
