Description
This property is a unique accommodation with its own personality, located in Astariz, in Castrelo de Miño, Ourense. It is located in the heart of the Ribeiro Denomination of Origin, surrounded by vineyards and traditional wineries, on the Castrelo de Miño reservoir and on the banks of the Miño river. Its natural and rural environment, together with privileged views, make it an exceptional enclave to enjoy the tranquility of the inland landscape of Galicia and an authentic experience linked to the world of wine.
The complex is composed of three independent lodgings, with their own private entrances and outdoor spaces. The apartments are called Treixadura, Loureira and Caíño, in homage to three native grape varieties of Ribeiro. All of them have been designed in detail, with custom-made furniture and a layout designed to offer comfort, privacy and unbeatable views. The construction, completed in 2023, has been carried out by the owner himself, who is dedicated to the reforms and has put all his passion in the project.
The Treixadura apartment, with capacity for six people, is the most representative of the complex. It is distributed on two floors and has ceilings almost five meters high, a traditional Galician lareira (where sausages used to be smoked) and an impressive 140 m² terrace overlooking the reservoir. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with double beds and en suite bathrooms, each equipped with television, air conditioning and heating. On the access floor there is a third bedroom also with double bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as the living room with sofa, dining/working area, guest toilet and exit to the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, plus capsule coffee maker and Italian coffee maker.
Loureira also has capacity for six people and stands out for its total accessibility, without stairs and with a bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility. It has three bedrooms with double bed and bathroom en suite, all with television, heating, air conditioning and spectacular views of the river. One of them has a small private balcony. The living room, with a round table ideal for both dining and working, is connected to the fully equipped kitchen. From this apartment there is access to a private terrace of 45 m² equipped with furniture. You can also make use of a common barbecue outside.
Caíño, designed for four people, has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, both with en-suite bathrooms.
From the master bedroom you can enjoy views of the river, while the second bedroom faces the courtyard where the private outdoor jacuzzi is located, one of the jewels of this accommodation.The living room, with a large round table, is connected to the kitchen, fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances.Its 80 m² terrace also offers outdoor furniture and spectacular views and has direct access to a swimming area in the river and its own jetty with three kayaks available for guests.
The three accommodations have wifi connection, air conditioning, heating, smart TV with access to platforms such as Netflix, work area and all the necessary services for a comfortable stay: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, complete kitchenware, iron and dryer. In the common areas there is a laundry with washing machine and dryer, as well as an outdoor barbecue with firewood.
The surroundings offer a wide variety of activities that can be organised on request through Mirabeles Lifestyle: from tastings in local wineries, eco-boat trips with culinary tasting, excursions to the Ribeira Sacra and Ourense, to unique experiences such as making a traditional queimada or enjoying live music. In the vicinity we also highlight the thermal spa of Laias Caldaria, the thermal baths of Prexigueiro in the mountains, the Nautical Club of Castrelo de Miño and several hiking trails that start from the house itself.
