Rustic building in Carvalhal was originally a fisherman’s house and is located in one of the most exclusive and desirable areas of the Comporta region, only 3 minutes away from the sand dunes of one of the most impressive beaches in the area.
On one side, it overlooks the deep blue Atlantic Ocean, and on the other, the flat green rice fields, where majestic storks hunt for fish, frogs and crabs. It is the epitome of coastal life. Comporta, Carvalhal and Melides are famous for their unspoilt coastline, with long stretches of soft sand, crystal clear waters and a laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The house with a total area of 250 square meters and capacity for 8 people distributed in four bedrooms and three bathrooms, consists of a main house and a flat on the first floor. The main accommodation has a terrace, a small swimming pool, an outdoor shower and a parking space for one car. On the first floor, in addition to the fully equipped flat, there is a roof terrace.
The main house offers three bedrooms, one of which offers en suite bathroom, while the other two share a bathroom. The kitchen and living room are open plan, creating a spacious ambience. In summer, air conditioning ensures comfort and all rooms are equipped with radiators and the living room has a fireplace.
The top floor flat is accessed via an external staircase, creating a private space ideal for older children or those accompanied by a nanny. It features an open concept layout with bedroom, kitchen and sleeping area, as well as a bathroom and a roof terrace.
The windows throughout the house have shutters and mosquito nets. The kitchen is fully equipped and the indoor dining area can seat up to 8 people, while the outdoor table can seat up to 10. A highchair and cot are available for families travelling with children.
