The property is located close to the charming village of Carvalhal and the renowned seaside resort of Comporta, offering the best of both worlds: the tranquillity of the countryside and easy access to some of Portugal’s most stunning beaches. Comporta is famous for its unspoilt coastline, with long stretches of soft sand, crystal clear waters and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a quiet getaway.
The heart of the property, which sleeps up to four people and covers 250 square metres, is a cosy main building that was formerly a primary school and has now been converted into a stylish and comfortable space. Its open plan design includes a bright living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The main house also features a spacious master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer stunning views of the surroundings. Air conditioning ensures a pleasant stay all year round, making it the ideal retreat in any season.
In addition to the main house, the property has a separate annexe, perfect for entertaining guests or enjoying more privacy. This annex has a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, as well as a living area with sofa bed and a small kitchenette, providing an excellent option for independent living.
Both sections of the house open onto the outdoor spaces, designed for relaxation and enjoyment. The private swimming pool is surrounded by a sunny sitting area, ideal for cooling off on hot summer days. There is also a large outdoor dining table, perfect for enjoying dinners under the stars, along with several cosy corners in the property, ideal for reading, sunbathing or simply appreciating the beauty of the Alentejo countryside.
The accommodation offers several amenities to ensure a pleasant stay, such as towels and bed linen, TV, access to a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, kettle and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine, air conditioning, wireless internet and a swimming pool. In addition, there is free on-site parking and wheelchair access. Toilet paper and soap are provided, and the use of a coffee machine and a dining table is permitted. It is important to note that smoking is not allowed on site.
