Naked & Sated: Good, pretty and natural
The concept of healthy and sustainable cuisine that is compatible with enjoyment.
Naked & Sated: Healthy and natural food is not boring, nor does it have to be a sacrifice. Neither is eating in an environmentally conscious way. Concepts that are increasingly intrinsic in our way of understanding gastronomy (and life itself). When choosing a restaurant, we are increasingly aware of the traceability of products and the process they have undergone before being served on the plate. That is why the so-called zero kilometer or healthy food restaurants are on the rise. This month we try Naked & Sated, which has set out to prove that it is possible to eat well without sacrificing flavor.
Their philosophy is simple: a return to the origins. In their menu you will only find real, naked, fresh, local and seasonal food to give the best fuel to your body and generate as little waste as possible. What not? Ultra-processed products, with refined flours or sugars. Behind this project, which already has four locations in Madrid, are the soccer players Marcos Llorente (Athletic Club) and Ibai Gómez (Athletic Club) together with the businessman Marino Cid and the chef Roberto Bosquet. Together they are committed to good nutrition as an essential aspect for a healthy life, knowing that in order to take care of oneself it is not necessary to give up eating rich and appetizing dishes.

The walls of each space are decorated with murals by a different artist, betting on local talent and culture depending on where each restaurant is located. In the one located next to the Paseo de la Castellana in the Plaza de Castilla area, the decoration is the work of Takk Group, which has chosen illustrator Del Hambre to illustrate the walls, who has chosen motifs that convey the restaurant’s healthy and sustainable philosophy. In the space, minimalist and simple, the colors beige, brown and red predominate; and there are high tables with stools and low tables.
Naked & Sated’s menu is extensive and is divided into ten different sections, where you can choose from pizzas to galettes, toast, burgers or salads. Bosquet is at the helm of the kitchen and some of his dishes have already become the stars of the menu, such as the tataki salad, with grilled tuna, quinoa, avocado, cooked chickpeas, tomato and piquillo bell pepper, or the healthy scrambled eggs, which are made with grilled organic eggs with potatoes and baked sweet potato, and Iberian ham.
All the ingredients and possible allergens are described in the menu for the peace of mind of people with other allergies or intolerances.
And for those who do not forgive desserts, these also follow the restaurant’s line and are made without added sugars. There are nine options to choose from, including delicacies such as vegan chia and coconut pudding cake with strawberries, pumpkin pancakes, healthy banoffee or mango, mint and turmeric ice cream bowl.
It is a place where everything is suitable for celiacs, so people with gluten intolerance can enjoy the full menu. In addition, all the ingredients and possible allergens are described in the menu for the peace of mind of people with other allergies or intolerances.
We opted for the pizzas made with quinoa dough, which can be vegetable, bolognese, five cheeses, larded chicken or broken eggs. We didn’t know which one to choose… so in the end we tried them all. You probably don’t know either.
