Carabanchel is one of the only districts in Madrid that has developed a more solid network of art and design studios and galleries as proposals that energise the social fabric of the neighbourhood and mark it out as a focus of opportunities for a generation of emerging creators.

Art U Ready has presented two exhibition projects during ARCO week, 'Antidote', by the artist Jesús de Miguel and 'Circular Portraits' by the artistic duo ELIURPI.

ART U READY returns during ARCO week with the artistic duo ELIURPI, formed by Elisabet Urpí and Nacho Umpiérrez. "Retratos circulares" delves into the most intimate side of the artists. We will be able to see their new sculptural and pictorial creations, and also their first book "ELIURPI", where they incorporate photography as an artistic discipline as well as the creation of some pieces of furniture.
